Reporting a Forest Fire

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources depends on the assistance of the public in the Northwest Territories in preventing and locating forest fires.

If you see smoke or think you see a wildfire, please phone

1-877-NWT-FIRE

or

1-877-698-3473

The most useful information you can provide is the approximate location of the fire, how to get there and if there is any life or property threatened.

Thank you for your continued assistance.
